Magnolias

This photo is of a magnolia tree in my yard. This year, there were no overnight freezes to kill the blossoms, and the tree was loaded with flowers.  Here are some paintings inspired by the magnolias in my yard and the varied feelings of light during the early spring days that they bloom.
